Experience the fruity and spicy flavours of Ardmore's 12 YO Portwood Finish Highland Single Malt. Established in 1898, this traditional distillery matures its whisky for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks and port wine barrels. Ardmore's whiskies are known for their slightly smoky character and are among the most popular in the Scottish Highlands. The 12 YO is produced in the traditional way without chill filtration, so it retains its full flavour profile. Chill filtration removes solids such as fats and proteins at low temperatures. However, some whisky connoisseurs believe that this also means that unique flavours are lost.
