Something strange is going on at the Distillery. The legendary cleaner on the still - responsible for the famous Ardbeg Equilibrium - is gone. The result is the whiskey Ardbeg Heavy Vapors. The familiar harmony between peat and floral fruitiness has been disrupted. Instead, an untamed taste unfolds with dark aromas that fill all the senses. Dramatic, aromatic and intense, this whiskey is an ominous experience. Prepare yourself for the rising Heavy Vapors.
Tasting Notes:
Ardbeg's wild and dark aromas soar. A burst of bitter-sweet flavor erupts, enveloping ashy coal dust notes and adding a layer of cardamom, peppermint and coffee beans. Clouds of dark chocolate and mentholated eucalyptus loom, masking the fruity and floral notes normally found at the heart of Ardbeg. Hints of aniseed, cinnamon and antiseptic pastilles float on the palate.
