Amrut 2014/2022 8 years
Whiskey has been making history in India for over 150 years. However, the history of Indian whiskey on a Scottish level only began around the turn of the millennium. And with Amrut India's flagship distillery was the first in the country to focus on producing true single malt, establishing its quality Bangalore whiskey across the world. The ambitious distilleries rely on small-grain and therefore sweeter Indian barley from the foot of the Himalayas. Amrut only uses malted barley from Scotland for its peated bottlings.
