Chateau Ste Michelle Canoe Ridge Estate Chardonay
The Chateau Ste Michelle Canoe Ridge Estate Chardonnay is an outstanding example of the art of winemaking in Washington's renowned wine region. This Chardonnay comes from the prestigious Canoe Ridge Estate, whose vineyards are characterized by optimal climatic conditions and well-aerated soils.
A complex bouquet unfolds on the nose, combining notes of ripe apples, pears and citrus fruits, underlined by a hint of vanilla and toasted oak. This aromatic diversity is achieved through the careful selection and targeted aging in French oak barrels, some of which new and part used. The aging on the fine lees gives the wine an additional elegant creaminess and depth that makes it particularly appealing.
On the palate, the Chardonnay shows a lively freshness and a harmonious balance between fruity intensity and a fine, mineral note. The pleasant acid structure ensures a lively dynamic that maintains the enjoyment until the last drop. The long-lasting finish leaves subtle hints of citrus fruits and nuttiness, which underlines the complexity of the wine.
