Clynelish

On the east coast of Scotland is the brand new Clynelish Distillery, which opened its doors in 1967. It is on the same site as the old 'Old Clynelish Distillery' which was closed and briefly rebuilt as 'Brora' after being phased out.Although Clynelish whiskey is best known as a single malt, it also plays in the blends of the owner Diageo plays an important role. For example, Clynelish is crucial to the taste of the Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve.
