Benriach The Twenty One
This exquisite single malt was crafted from a combination of peated and unpeated whisky from four different casks. It was matured for at least 21 years in bourbon, sherry, oak, and Bordeaux red wine casks. During this extended maturation, Benriach 's sweet Speyside smoke mellows and blends harmoniously with notes of fruit, malt, and oak.
After twenty-one years, a sweet and smoky honey flavor emerges, enhanced by the many aromas of the long cask maturation. The whiskies from the various cask types were then blended to create a rich and elegant single malt, perfectly balanced with luscious orchard fruits and a honey-smoke finish.
