Another highlight of the 'Crazy Coo' series is this 14-year-old Teaninich . After 12 years of maturation in a former bourbon cask, it was finished for two years in a second-fill Pedro Ximénez cask. Independent bottler The Caskhound, under the direction of Thilo Schnabel, focuses on elegant single-cask finishes and whiskies bottled uncompromisingly in their natural form in this successful series – unadulterated, full of character, and featuring creative labels.
The clear, structured distillate from the Teaninich distillery, the careful maturation including a cask finish, and the absence of chill filtering and color additives, combined with a powerful 52.5% ABV, make this single malt with the crazy cow on the label a real insider tip for single malt connoisseurs and explorers.
