Matured in an American oak cask for the Awakening Series 2025 and bottled at its natural cask strength of an impressive 61% ABV, this Nordic single malt showcases its full range of qualities. Sweet, creamy vanilla and honey notes mingle with smooth malt and a subtle oak spice.
On the palate, aromas of vanilla pudding, toffee, and light fruits unfold, accompanied by cinnamon and roasted nuts – a delight shaped by maturation in American oak barrels. The finish is long and warm, with nuances of malt sugar and honey. A powerful, harmonious dram full of character – clear, authentic, and elegant, typically Danish.
