Octomore 16.1 Super Heavily Peated 101.4 PPM 59.3%

Octomore 16.1 is made from 100% Scottish Concerto barley from the mainland. The barley is malted to 101.4 ppm and the whisky is aged in casks for five years at an alcohol content of 59.3%.

This elegant distillate matures in first-fill bourbon casks and combines intense peat smoke with surprising delicacy. Aromas of salted caramel, honeydew melon, and apricot blend with chocolate and coconut. A gentle wave of earthy minerality and lingering smoke round out the flavor profile.

Another plus point is that the Octomore 16.1 Heavily Peated is bottled without colorings and without chill filtration. This ensures the whisky's taste and texture remain unadulterated, allowing the natural aromas to fully express themselves.
