The From the Barrel – Extra Marriage It received twice the maturation time of six months, which gives it additional depth, refined textures and an impressive harmony.

The Malt Pieces of the Barrel They reveal the powerful, smoky side of the blend. With intense aromas of peat, malt, herbs, fruits, and spices, they reflect the essence of the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distillates. The heavily peated Yoichi malt, in particular, shapes the finish.

The Grain Pieces of the Barrel In contrast, the fresh, rounding role of grain whiskies is evident. Notes of vanilla, fruit, herbs, and spices create a harmonious overall impression. A touch of corn and rye whisky from the Nikka distillery Satsuma Tsukasa, along with aged Coffey grain, adds further depth and elegance.
