The Macallan Speymalt 2001/2024 from Gordon & MacPhail is a powerful single cask bottling from cask no. 5101 with a proud 58.8% ABV. This Speyside single malt matured for over two decades and was bottled in 2024 at natural cask strength – unadulterated, non-chill filtered and without added coloring.
On the nose, intense aromas of dark chocolate, raisins, dried fruit, and spicy oak unfold. On the palate, the whisky impresses with its depth and structure: notes of sherry, spices, candied orange, and a hint of coffee mingle with the typical elegance and warmth for which Macallan is known. The long, warming finish rounds off the complex taste experience.
