Cask Maturation and Origin

Islay tradition meets precise cask selection This whisky originates from the traditional Laphroaig distillery and was distilled on September 22, 2015. It owes its characteristic depth to ten years of maturation in a First Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead, before being selected by independent bottler Brave New Spirits for the "Cask Masters" series. Limited to just 351 bottles, this single cask represents a rare snapshot of artisanal perfection, which found its way into the bottle on April 1, 2026.

Aroma

Shimmering through the clear glass in the color of warm honey, the distillate promises an encounter between the rough Scottish sea and the warmth of Spanish oak. On the palate, the power of the cask strength of 56.1% Vol. is evident in a full-bodied texture that combines notes of toffee and dark berries with the tart spice of oak wood. The finish remains long-lasting and dry, with nuances of chocolate and the characteristic saltiness of the Islay coast leaving a lasting impression.
