Kilchoman 11 Jahre Family Collection

Der Kilchoman 11 Jahre gehört zur ersten Edition der Family Collection, für die seltene, lang gereifte Bestände aus den Lagerhäusern der Islay-Brennerei ausgewählt wurden. Hergestellt wurde der Single Malt aus stark getorftem Malz der Port Ellen Maltings mit einem Phenolgehalt von 50 ppm.

Die vollständige Reifung erfolgte über elf Jahre in ausgewählten Oloroso-Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt wurde der Whisky mit kräftigen 54,7 % Vol. in Fassstärke, ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kühlfiltration. Innerhalb der vierteiligen Family Collection bildet diese Abfüllung das sherrygeprägte Gegenstück zu den älteren, in Bourbonfässern gereiften Editionen.
