Glengoyne 21 Years Sherry Cask
Glengoyne 21 Years matures exclusively in sherry casks, predominantly first-fill European oak casks. The Highland distillery's particularly slow distillation preserves the fruity character of the distillate, while the long cask maturation provides depth and a distinctly sherry-driven style.
The nose reveals red apples, spicy strudel, toffee, sherry, and dried fruits. On the palate, powerful sherry notes combine with honey and oak, followed by delicate cinnamon spice. The long finish is warm, spicy, and dry. Bottled at 43% vol., without coloring and non-chill filtered.
