Glendronach 14 Year Old Boynsmill House Edition 200th Anniversary
Description
This is a very early photo and we do not yet have the packaging for it. Each bottle will be shipped with its outer packaging.
The Glendronach Boynsmill House Edition was created to mark the 200th anniversary of the traditional Highland distillery. This 14-year-old single malt is a tribute to founder James Allardice and the legendary celebrations at Boynsmill House, where exquisite wines played a special role. For this limited anniversary bottling, Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie combined the Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, characteristic of Glendronach, with a small selection of former Claret red wine casks. These give the powerful distillate additional depth and fruity accents.
In the glass, the whisky presents itself in a rich copper hue. On the nose, an elegant variety of fruits and nuts combines with sweet toffee, juicy blackberries, and ripe stone fruit. Hazelnuts and raisins complement the multifaceted aroma. On the palate, full-bodied malt meets dried fruits and fine nutty notes, before soft chocolate and delicate caramel harmoniously round off the composition. An expressive anniversary edition that combines Glendronach's traditional sherry cask style with selected red wine casks.
