Für Penultimus bringt Foursquare zwei Reifewege zusammen, die vollständig im tropischen Klima von Barbados verliefen. Richard Seale wählte diese limitierte Edition als 30. Veröffentlichung der Exceptional Cask Selection aus.

Zwei Reifewege, ein Rum

Eine Komponente reifte über die gesamten 15 Jahre in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern. Die andere wechselte nach zehn Jahren aus Bourbonfässern für weitere fünf Jahre in ehemalige Moscatelfässer. In ihrem Zusammenspiel liegt die Besonderheit dieses Single Blended Rums, der Pot-Still- und Column-Still-Destillate derselben Brennerei verbindet.

Auf die Zugabe von Zucker, Farbstoffen und Aromastoffen wird bei Penultimus verzichtet.
