As reliable as Santa Claus, the ElsBurn Cosy Winter XI brings pure Christmas cheer to your glass again this year – exclusively for Kirsch Import customers. This winter whisky delights the senses with aromas of redcurrant jelly and plum compote, nestled in crisp, baked puff pastry (Joulutorttu). The festive flavor profile is complemented by British fruitcake, chocolate-covered raisins, and crunchy brittle pieces.
The eleventh special bottling owes its warm reddish-brown color to harmonious maturation in first-fill PX sherry and ruby port casks. Bottled naturally – without added coloring or chill filtration – and at an aromatic strength of 51.7% ABV, this wintery dram is limited to just 654 bottles and is a true delight for the cold season.
