Edradour with Sherry Cask influence
This ten-year-old Edradour from the Scottish Highlands was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026. It is part of the Un-Chillfiltered Collection and bears cask number #216. The sherry cask influence is evident in the dark fruit notes, sweet caramel tones, and spicy oak.
Bottled at 46.0% ABV, this non-peated whisky is produced without artificial coloring and without chill filtration.
Aroma and Taste
- Aroma: Malty sweetness underpins the scent of raisins and ripe plums, accompanied by cinnamon and delicate oak notes.
- Taste: Toffee and caramel provide sweet accents, to which dark chocolate adds a tart dimension. The spice feels balanced, and the mouthfeel is full.
- Finish: Oak spice characterizes the long finish; dark fruits remain subtly in the background.
