Edradour mit Sherryfassprägung
Dieser zehnjährige Edradour aus den schottischen Highlands wurde 2016 destilliert und 2026 abgefüllt. Er gehört zur Un-Chillfiltered Collection und trägt die Fassnummer #216. Die Sherryfassprägung zeigt sich in dunklen Fruchtnoten, süßen Karamelltönen und würziger Eiche.
Mit 46,0% vol. abgefüllt, kommt der nicht rauchige Whisky ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kühlfiltrierung aus.
Aroma und Geschmack
- Aroma: Malzige Süße unterlegt den Duft von Rosinen und reifen Pflaumen. Dazu treten Zimt und feine Eichennoten.
- Geschmack: Toffee und Karamell setzen süße Akzente, denen dunkle Schokolade eine herbe Seite verleiht. Die Würze wirkt ausgewogen, das Mundgefühl voll.
- Nachklang: Eichenwürze prägt den langen Ausklang; dunkle Früchte bleiben dezent im Hintergrund.
