Speyside Tradition in the Un-Chillfiltered Collection Destilled in the heart of Speyside, this single malt matured for ten years before finding its final destination through the renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage. A interplay of dark fruit and noble spice The honey-colored glow in the glass already hints at the aromatic intensity that awaits the connoisseur. The Benriach distillery is at the center of this bottling.
Cask Maturation and Origin
When malted barley and the aromatic depth of an Oloroso cask harmoniously come together over a whole decade, a distillate is created that makes the care of its production tangible in every sip.
Aromatics
The bouquet opens with notes of dark raisins and ripe plums, which harmoniously combine with the scent of toasted oak and a hint of forest honey. On the palate, a rich body emerges with nuances of creamy caramel and dark chocolate, accompanied by a fine nutty structure. The finish is dry and characterful, with spicy cinnamon and a pinch of pepper lingering on the palate for a long time.
