This 25-year-old Auchentoshan was presented by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Andrew Symington, who founded his company in the late 1980s, has always maintained close relationships with Scottish distilleries. Today, he has an impressive stock of more than 10,000 casks, from which he and his team carefully select rare whiskies or supplement them with new, exquisite casks from Scottish distilleries.
This bottling is part of Signatory's Symington's Choice series, which includes exclusive whiskies matured in single casks or finished at cask strength with luxurious amenities. It is aimed particularly at experienced connoisseurs, collectors, and explorers of single malts. This 24-year-old Lowland whisky matured entirely in an Oloroso sherry butt and promises an exceptional tasting experience.
