Dieser 24 Jahre alte Canadian Corn Whisky stammt aus einer nicht genannten kanadischen Brennerei. Destilliert wurde er am 1. September 2001, bevor er bis März 2026 reifte und aus einem Refill Sherry Butt abgefüllt wurde. Ausgewählt hat ihn Sam Simmons, Head of Whisky bei Master of Malt und selbst Kanadier, für die exklusive Master-of-Malt-Kollektion.
Veröffentlicht wurde die „Elbows Up Edition“ anlässlich des Canada Day 2026. Auch die kräftige Alkoholstärke von 67,0 % vol. greift ein Stück kanadischer Geschichte auf: Sie verweist auf das Gründungsjahr der Kanadischen Konföderation 1867. Insgesamt entstanden lediglich 911 Flaschen.
Im Aroma zeigt sich der Whisky zunächst hell, klar und eher zurückhaltend. Apfelmus, frisches Holz und Rosinengebäck bestimmen die Nase. Am Gaumen tritt die hohe Stärke deutlich hervor, bevor sich Gewürze, Crème brûlée, in Rum eingelegte Rosinen und Schokoladenkekse entfalten. Der cremige Nachklang verbindet Vanillepudding und gebutterten Mais mit Küchengewürzen und karamellisiertem braunem Zucker.
