The "Campbeltown Saga" series celebrates the rich heritage of Campbeltown, the Victorian whisky capital. In 1832, the founding year of Glen Scotia, whisky literally flowed through the streets of this port city. At that time, 37 distilleries operated in Campbeltown, which earned the nickname "Whiskyopolis" during this golden era, supplying the world with their distinctive whisky. Campbeltown whiskies are known for their robust, oily character and the intense smoke imparted by the local peat, which filled the city's air with a thick, peaty aroma.

Glen Scotia is presented here in its purest form – unchill filtered and in its natural color.

For the first release in the series, Iain McAlister selected only rare, medium-peated first-fill bourbon casks, sourced from Peated Spirit's mere one-month annual production. These casks impart a rich, smoky Campbeltown character to the whisky, with abundant maritime notes. This rare peated whisky is a tribute to the glorious era of whisky production in Campbeltown.
