Mit „The Bodach“ setzt The Caskhound die Reihe Legends at the Bar fort. Für die dritte Ausgabe wurde ein getorfter Ledaig aus der Tobermory Distillery ausgewählt. Der Single Malt wurde am 6. März 2008 destilliert und reifte 18 Jahre in einem Ex-Bourbon Hogshead. Am 20. April 2026 kamen aus Fass Nummer 20 insgesamt 283 Flaschen in natürlicher Fassstärke von 50,1 % Vol. in die Abfüllung. Der Whisky ist ungefärbt und nicht kühlfiltriert.
Salzige Meeresluft, warmes Bienenwachs und mineralischer Rauch bilden den Auftakt. Zitronenschale, grüner Apfel und Honigmelone bringen Frische, ergänzt von einem jodig-medizinischen Akzent sowie Vanille, geröstetem Malz und Kräuterhonig. Am Gaumen treffen öliger Torf und Kaminrauch auf Zitrusschale, weißen Pfeffer, Honig und Vanille. Sahnekaramell setzt einen kurzen süßen Kontrast, bevor nasser Fels, Asche und Salzlake das Profil wieder ins Herb-Maritime führen. Der lange, trockene Nachklang verbindet Rauch, Kräuter und Asche mit kandiertem Ingwer, dunkler Schokolade, Eichenwürze und einer letzten Spur Honigsüße.
