Olorosum Secret Speyside 10 Years - Oloroso Sherry Casks Finish

Olorosum is a ten-year-old single malt from an undisclosed Speyside distillery. Its particularly intense sherry character is due to a generous finish in Oloroso sherry casks. The Secret Speyside was bottled at a robust 54.7% vol., without coloring and without chill filtration.

The aroma combines caramelized sugar, light syrup, and milk chocolate with candied pecans and fine chocolate liqueur notes. In the background, dry, aged oak provides additional depth. On the palate, the whisky is powerful and opulent: vanilla fudge, preserved dried fruits, and sweet, nutty malt meet chocolate raisins, Brazil nuts, and crispy caramel biscuits. The dense finish brings increasingly dry oak, aged fruit cake, and roasted spices together.
