Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey
The famous Sazerac Coffee House was founded in 1850 in Exchange Alley in New Orleans, Louisiana, and soon gained renown as the home of "America's first cocktail," known as the Sazerac. Using rye whiskey instead of French brandy, a dash of Peychaud's bitters, and Herbsaint, they created what would eventually become the official cocktail of New Orleans. This pure rye has a mild spiciness and a dry sweetness that dances on the tongue, offering a pure delight worthy of the name Sazerac.
