Mit der Edition Bad Wolf würdigt Penderyn das zehnjährige Bestehen der gleichnamigen Filmstudios in Cardiff. Sie ist die dreizehnte Ausgabe der Icons of Wales-Serie. Der zehn Jahre alte Single Malt reifte zunächst in Ex-Bourbon-Fässern und erhielt anschließend ein Finish in über 50 Jahre alten Tawny Port Pipes.
Die Abfüllung aus Wales verbindet florale Akzente mit dunklen Fruchtnoten und würzigen Anklängen. Sie wird mit 46,0% Vol. ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kühlfiltrierung abgefüllt und besitzt einen nicht rauchigen Charakter.
Aromen und Geschmack
- Nase: Orangenblüte und Rosenblätter begleiten Noten von Früchtekuchen und Feigenmarmelade.
- Gaumen: Geschmorte dunkle Früchte treffen auf Marzipan, cremiges Toffee und eine dezente salzige Note.
- Nachklang: Langanhaltend, mit getrockneter Aprikose und etwas Muskat.
