Inspired by Jing's "Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea," a complex tea with intense dessert wine aromas and exotic fruit notes, this Macallan whisky reflects these multifaceted flavor profiles.
The primary maturation of this single malt took place in American oak sherry casks, which accentuated fruity and floral notes. This was complemented by European oak sherry casks, which imparted balanced roasted aromas and a velvety depth to the whisky. A subtle blend of ex-bourbon casks harmoniously rounds off the flavor profile with a gentle sweetness.
