Ledaig 13 Years 2011/2025 The Whisky Jury
Ledaig is the smoky version of the whisky produced by the Tobermory Distillery, idyllically situated on the Isle of Mull – one of the beautiful Hebridean islands off the west coast of Scotland. Founded in 1798, Tobermory is one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries. Here, the island's tradition blends with modern craftsmanship to create whiskies with character and depth.
While Tobermory's own bottlings are typically fruity and slightly maritime, Ledaig is something completely different: a powerful, peat-smoked single malt inspired by the Islay style—but with a personality all its own. Ledaig is known for its balanced yet intense smoke, combined with notes of seaweed, black pepper, sweet malt, and campfire—all underscored by a salty sea breeze.
This single malt was distilled in 2011 and matured in a 2nd fill hogshead before being bottled in 2025 by the independent bottler "The Whisky Jury" in a limited edition of 317 bottles.
