Indri Agneya Single Malt Whiskey
Agneya, derived from the Sanskrit word for "pertaining to fire," is a lightly peated single malt whisky matured in sherry and bourbon casks. These casks lend it impressive depth and complexity, while its flavors reflect the essence of fire and wood.
One of India's most elegant and refined whiskies, Agneya impresses with a harmonious balance of notes of nuts and ripe fruits, accompanied by a gentle smokiness that caresses the palate.
The distillery is located in the Yamuna River basin, in the picturesque village of Indri, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. This lush green landscape, a centerpiece of India's agricultural heartland, surrounds the fields and the warehouse where the distillate matures. Here, the majestic Indian peacock roams freely—a symbol of nature's untamed grace.
