A play of dark fruits and fine spice. With an impressive cask strength of 58.9% Vol., the whisky presents itself undiluted and non-chill-filtered in the glass. On the nose, fragrant raisin aromas immediately unfold, accompanied by the subtle sharpness of ginger and the aromatic notes of red apples. Key data: 12 years old, distilled 2013, bottled 2026, 58.9% Vol. The bottling comes from Gordon & MacPhail.
Classification
On the palate, it shows its full concentration: Lively notes of stewed fruit merge with blackcurrant jam and a subtle hint of coffee beans, before a long-lasting, spicy finish with nuances of orange peel rounds off the taste.
