Speyside Single Malt with PX Sherry Finish
This nine-year-old Dailuaine from The Octave series combines malty aromas with dark fruit and spicy oak notes. Distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2026, the single malt received a finish in a small Pedro Ximénez octave cask. This single cask bottling from cask #10952275 is limited to 86 bottles and was created to mark the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import.
Aromas and Taste
- Nose: Strong malt, raisins, and plums, accompanied by caramel and chocolate.
- Palate: Dark dried fruits, subtle licorice, and nutty sherry notes meet dry oak spice.
- Finish: Long-lasting with a spicy character.
The non-peated Speyside whisky was bottled at 52.4% ABV without chill filtration and without the addition of coloring.
This bottling is produced by independent bottler Duncan Taylor.
