However, a different approach was taken this time: instead of full cask strength, the whisky is presented at an ideal drinking strength, which further emphasizes its balance and enjoyment. The result is an approachable yet complex dram in which yellow fruits and multifaceted smoke engage in a captivating interplay.
Founded in 1965, the Loch Lomond Distillery is one of Scotland's most versatile distilleries. Using a variety of stills, they produce numerous styles. Croftengea represents the distillery's intensely smoky character. In its mature form, it reveals a unique combination of smoke, fruit, and structure, which is particularly clear and approachable in this 18-year-old bottling.
