The Brancaia Tre Bio 2022 stands as an outstanding example of organic and sustainable viticulture in Tuscany. This red wine combines the tradition of the Brancaia winery with modern, environmentally conscious practices to create a product of exceptional quality. The vines are cultivated exclusively organically, meaning that synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers are not used. This promotes not only the health of the soil but also the terroir from which the grapes originate.

The blend comprises 80% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, ensuring a harmonious balance between fruitiness and structure. The Sangiovese grapes, which play a central role in the heart of Tuscany, contribute vibrant freshness and aromatic notes of cherries and red berries. The Merlot adds a velvety softness and aromas of plums and chocolate, while the Cabernet Sauvignon, with its robust tannins and notes of blackcurrant and spice, provides depth and complexity.

The 2022 harvest benefited from optimal weather conditions. Warm days combined with cool nights allowed for a slow and even ripening of the grapes. These climatic conditions resulted in high-quality grapes, which is reflected in the finished wine. The Brancaia Tre Bio 2022 displays an inviting ruby-red color with violet reflections that shimmer in the glass.

On the nose, an intense bouquet unfolds, characterized by fruity aromas of ripe cherries, plums, and a hint of herbs. This interplay of aromas is underscored by subtle spicy nuances reminiscent of black pepper and tobacco. On the palate, the wine impresses with its elegant structure and perfectly integrated acidity, which lends it a refreshing vibrancy. The tannins are silky and supple, leading to a long, harmonious finish.
