Charakter und Herstellung
Nach der Reifung in amerikanischer Eiche erhielt er ein Finish in einem Ruby Port Pipe. In der Nase treffen rote Johannisbeeren und Brombeeren auf süßes Malz. Wichtige Eckdaten: abgefüllt 2026, 50,0% Vol. Die Abfüllung stammt von The Vintage Malt Whisky Co Ltd.
Einordnung
Am Gaumen entfalten sich süße Portweinnoten, Lakritz und Gewürze mit einem besonders saftigen Mundgefühl.
Beschreibung
Dieser Lowland Single Malt von Bladnoch trägt den Namen „Lowland Fruit Basket“. Nach der Reifung in amerikanischer Eiche erhielt er ein Finish in einem Ruby Port Pipe. Das Einzelfass Nr. 0573 wurde 2026 für die Reihe The Cooper’s Choice – The Golden Cut mit 50,0 % Vol. abgefüllt und ergab 360 Flaschen. Der Whisky ist ungefärbt und nicht kühlfiltriert.
In der Nase treffen rote Johannisbeeren und Brombeeren auf süßes Malz. Am Gaumen entfalten sich süße Portweinnoten, Lakritz und Gewürze mit einem besonders saftigen Mundgefühl. Milchschokolade, Eukalyptus und Ananas sorgen für zusätzliche Facetten. Der Nachklang bleibt lange erhalten und klingt mit weiteren Fruchtnoten aus.
