Angostura Aromatic Bitters

Angostura Aromatic Bitters, an indispensable cocktail bitter from Trinidad and Tobago, is one of the essential ingredients of any well-stocked bar. Since 1824, this bitter has been produced according to an unchanged recipe, the exact composition of which remains a closely guarded secret to this day.
Originally developed to relieve stomach and intestinal discomfort, bitters are now primarily used to refine spirits and prepare mixed drinks such as Old Fashioneds and Manhattans. They are also used to flavor desserts and sauces for fish and meat dishes.
