What distinguishes this Highland Single Malt is not so much a loud statement as a patient symbiosis of robust distillate and the intense influence of a first-fill sherry cask. The combination of Highland character and Andalusian oak Distilled in June 2014 at the traditional Aberfeldy distillery, this single malt spent its entire maturation period in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt.
Cask Maturation and Origin
Independent bottler Signatory Vintage selected this cask for its renowned Cask Strength Collection and bottled it in its purest form in May 2026. With a limited edition of only 663 bottles worldwide, this whisky remains an exclusive experience for lovers of unadulterated craftsmanship.
Aroma
A spectrum of dark fruits and fine chocolate The deep, rust-brown color in the glass already hints at the aromatic intensity that awaits the connoisseur. On the nose, dense notes of honey and dark fruits unfold, accompanied by a subtle nuttiness. On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and powerful with nuances of raisins, creamy caramel, and tart dark chocolate, before transitioning into a medium-long finish of oak spice and cocoa.
