Aberargie Golden Promise
Aberargie dedicates the Expressions Range to the influence of individual barley varieties on whisky. For Golden Promise, only the eponymous barley grown in the fields around the distillery is used. This allows its unique character to unfold – from the origin of the grain to the finished single malt.
The combination of first-fill Bourbon and Sherry casks adds a full-bodied accent. The predominant proportion of Bourbon casks highlights the interplay of creamy pastries, baked fruits, and delicate baking spices.
In the Glass
The rich gold carries a warm copper shimmer. The aroma reveals shortbread and stewed apples meeting brown sugar. On the palate, a powerful, round impression unfolds: baked fruit combines with malty depth and delicate baking spices. The finish remains present for a long time, lingering warmly and spicily.
