The nose initially dominates with strong peat and smoky notes, complemented by woody nuances, seaweed, iodine, and sea salt, creating an unmistakably medicinal aroma.
This 10-year-old Laphroaig is one of the most famous single malt whiskies from the famous "whisky island" of Islay, located between Scotland and Ireland. Honored with numerous international awards, it comes from one of the three legendary distilleries on the island's south coast. Laphroaig, the westernmost of these distilleries, is located near the small town of Port Ellen, whose malthouse supplies the barley for this exceptional whisky.
