This characterful Islay whisky , which is neither chill-filtered nor colored, comes from an undisclosed Islay distillery and impresses with a robust 49.2% ABV. This Batch #1 bottling combines the island's signature smoky peat notes with surprisingly sweet berry fruits and rosehip tea aromas.
The independent bottlers at Whisky Druid have created a true masterpiece with this peated single malt. The 10-year maturation gives the whisky, distilled from malted barley, a complex aromatic structure. The rustic label, with its artistic dragon depiction, reflects the character of this exceptional whisky: wild yet balanced.
