From the Highland distillery Clynelish comes an 18-year-old single malt that has been matured in unspecified refill casks. What makes this whisky special is the experimental approach the distillery took with its cut points of distillation.
Clynelish Distillery's signature style takes on a sweet, tropical vibrancy through a unique experiment in which a portion of the distillate is extracted early in the distillation process—just when tropical flavors are most pronounced. We call this the "Pineapple Cut." Matured for at least 18 years in refill casks, juicy, ripe pineapple notes enrich the taste of wax and honey. Experience the feeling of a perfect spot in the sun.
