After twelve years of maturation in an exciting combination of first-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads and bourbon barrels, this Speyside whisky unfolds a perfect balance of fruit, sweetness, and spice: caramelized fruits and chocolatey depth combine with warm citrus notes, vanilla, and a finely tuned spice structure.
At 57.1% ABV, this bottling delivers impressive intensity to the glass without being overpowering. Instead, the Benriach reveals itself as both powerful and balanced, with a harmonious interplay of sherry fruitiness and creamy bourbon notes. A dram that delights neat and reveals additional nuances with a drop of water.
