The Balvenie The Edge of Burnhead Wood 19 Year Old Scotch is a single malt made exclusively from barley grown directly on the grounds of the Balvenie distillery near Burnhead Wood.
A special refinement of this 19-year-old bottling lies in the drying of the malt: instead of peat fires, it was dried with heather. This heather, which also grows on the extensive Balvenie estate, lends the whisky a particularly delicate and unique aroma. The water for this fine spirit naturally comes from the Burnhead spring, located near the distillery. This exclusive edition is bottled in a 0.7-liter bottle at a robust 47.8% ABV, offering an intense taste experience.
