Kumano Japanese Single Malt Whiskey
Kumano Single Malt Whisky comes from the small Kishu-Kumano distillery, located in the mountains of the Kishu region (Wakayama Prefecture). Here, significant temperature differences ensure that the whisky matures faster and develops a distinctive flavor.
This unpeated single malt is aged for over three years and acquires its distinctive aroma from various cask types, including rare Mizunara and Hinoki wood casks, creating delicate, exceptional flavors.
Kumano relies on genuine craftsmanship: The whiskies are usually bottled in small batches to ensure quality and authenticity. On the nose, it displays fresh, light, and fruity aromas. On the palate, the whisky is complex and deep, yet uncomplicated and easy to enjoy.
