The Deveron 12 Jahre

The Deveron 12 Jahre wird in der Macduff Distillery nahe der Mündung des River Deveron hergestellt. Die Brennerei nahm 1960 ihren Betrieb auf und arbeitet mit fünf kleinen Kupferbrennblasen sowie horizontalen Kondensatoren. Diese technische Besonderheit unterstützt den leichten, fruchtigen Stil, für den The Deveron bekannt ist.

Der Single Malt reift zwölf Jahre in Eichenfässern. Dabei entwickelt er ein rundes Aromaprofil aus cremiger Vanille, gebackenem Apfel und reifen Früchten. Geröstetes Getreide und eine feine, leicht maritime Würze ergänzen die Fruchtnoten, bevor der Whisky sanft und würzig ausklingt. Abgefüllt mit 40 % vol. verbindet The Deveron 12 Jahre die weiche Grundart der Brennerei mit etwas mehr Reife und Tiefe.
