Tamdhu Sherry Oak Casks Batch Strength
With Batch Strength No. 008, Tamdhu presents the powerful side of its Speyside Single Malt, matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. The carefully selected eighth edition of the series is bottled at a robust 55.8% ABV, close to cask strength.
The nose combines warm oak aromas with sweet honeycomb and creamy vanilla. On the palate, vibrant summer berries emerge; a few drops of water additionally open up notes of candied lemon peel and spicy oak. The expressive finish leaves behind ripe figs, fresh lemon zest, and pleasantly tart oak undertones.
