Tamdhu 18 Years Limited Release
The Tamdhu Distillery is located in the small village of Knockando in Scotland's Speyside region, about 15 kilometers west of Charleston of Aberlour on the River Spey. Founded in 1897, the distillery has been part of the Ian Macleod family business since the early 2010s, which successfully revived Tamdhu. The distillery's whiskies mature exclusively in high-quality sherry casks and delight connoisseurs and enthusiasts with their intense, rich flavor.
To celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2022, Tamdhu released a special single malt Scotch whisky: the 18-year-old Tamdhu. This exquisite whisky was double distilled and matured for its entire 18-year period in carefully selected sherry casks made of American and European oak, previously filled with Oloroso sherry. This limited release of the Tamdhu 18 Year Old was bottled without chill filtration or added coloring and boasts an alcohol content of 46.8% ABV. This exceptional whisky is available in a 70cl bottle.
