St.Kilian Ex Champagne Vin Clair Single Cask
This exclusive whisky , bottled at a robust 58.7% ABV, comes from a rare ex-Champagne Vin Clair single cask. Vin Clair, a young white wine used as a base for Champagne, lends this smoky single malt its elegant and exceptional character.
After four years of maturation in a 350-liter cask (#6942), this whisky unfolds an impressive array of aromas: sweet peat smoke envelops a fruity bouquet of white grapes, juicy apricots, pears, and yellow apples. Subtle spices, fine oak, and delicate ash notes add depth and complexity. Made from 100% peated malt (80 ppm) from the Scottish Highlands and double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills, this whisky is neither chill-filtered nor colored. This strictly limited bottling comprises only 595 bottles of 0.5 liters each.
