The Springbank 18 Year Old 2024 Edition matured exclusively in 100% ex-bourbon casks and was bottled in 2024 at 46% ABV.
Tropical fruit notes like papaya and pineapple dominate the nose, accompanied by malty barley, vanilla, and creamy pastry aromas. On the palate, notes of golden syrup, honeyed granola, fruit gums, pear drops, and buttery icing unfold, complemented by tropical fruit on the finish, herbs, and a slightly salty minerality.
According to user reports in the whisky forum "r/Scotch," it also has aromas of herbs, cinnamon, marzipan, citrus, and sea salt, combined with the typical Springbank "funk" characteristics—mineral, oily, and complex.
