17 Jahre Reife im Barolo-Barrique
Dieser schottische Single Malt wurde 2008 destilliert und 2026 nach 17 Jahren Reifung abgefüllt. Die gesamte Lagerung erfolgte in einem 1st Fill Barolo Barrique. Das zuvor mit Barolo aus dem Piemont belegte Fass prägt das Zusammenspiel von Fruchtsüße, Holznoten und trockenen Tanninen.
Aromen und Geschmack
- Nase: Rote, reife Beeren und dunkle Trockenfrüchte treffen auf Vanille und einen feinen Tabakton.
- Gaumen: Ein kräftiger, weinbetonter Eindruck verbindet sich mit Toffeesüße und deutlich trockenen Tanninen.
- Nachklang: Lang anhaltend mit dunklem Kakao, gerösteter Eiche und trockener Würze.
Abgefüllt mit 54,9% vol., kommt der nicht rauchige Whisky ohne Farbstoff und ohne Kühlfiltrierung aus. Er lässt sich pur oder mit wenigen Tropfen Wasser genießen.
