Beschreibung
Der Straight Rye Whiskey aus Penelopes Classic Series setzt auf eine Mash Bill aus 93 % Roggen und 7 % Gerstenmalz. Abgefüllt mit 46 % vol., stellt er die typische Würze und Tiefe des Roggens heraus, bleibt dabei aber ausgewogen, vielschichtig und angenehm zugänglich.
Das Aroma verbindet frische Spearmint-Noten und Zitruszeste mit Backgewürzen und leicht gerösteter Eiche. Am Gaumen treffen Roggenwürze und schwarzer Pfeffer auf karamellisierten Zucker, kühle Kräuterminze und feine Zitrusanklänge. Im Nachklang bleiben Mandel, polierte Eiche, Gewürze und ein Hauch Minzkaramell zurück.
